The first Beatles album to appear is Rubber Soul..... at Number 41 in the Eagle's Greatest Classic Rock Albums of all time, brought to you by D.R. Horton, America's Builder. I loved recalling the whole Rubber Soul period. I realized how lucky we are, those of us who lived through the British Invasion..... being a witness to the evolution of not only rock and roll, but of Radio in America. Did people vote on this thinking of the U.K. version, or the U.S. version that didn't have "Drive My Car" and "Nowhere Man"? This is the band in the most refined state of their early days before experimenting endlessly in the studio, and I think it's easily one of their best and should've ended up higher on the list.
