Free NFL !?

3890000588_50c304c3d4_mNFL REBROADCASTING BLACKOUT GAMES Expecting crappy ticket sales this season in a down economy, the NFL will be posting blacked-out games for free viewing on their website -- after the game has already been played and broadcast on network television. Games that are blacked out in home team markets will be shown in full for free beginning at midnight on the day of the game -- and will remain on the site for 72 hours. It's the least NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell can do, right? "We understand that the economy is limiting some families and corporations from buying as many game tickets as they had previously," Goodell said. "These free rebroadcasts on NFL.com will allow our fans that can't get to a blacked-out game an opportunity to see the entire game." Right ... Twelve hours after the smoke clears.
  • Has it gotten to the point where you'd rather watch football from the comfort of your own home, on your high-def TV instead of paying through the nose to battle traffic and sit a mile away from the action? Or... Is there still no greater thrill for you than to sit in the stands and cheer your team on?
