60s dance party craze sweeps nation?

This week our collective groove will start with a potent double shot of Beatles from the wickedly good White Album. Then things will take a decidedley darker tone with tales of war and destruction. Sorry, that was part of the 60s unfortunatley. We'll drop into Studio B with Stephen Stills, a rare acoustic look at a simple love song that turned into a career for CSN. And that's just in the first hour. The Allman Brothers will rock the roof off the Fillmore East and then Duane will show up later to show you what he and Clapton can do together. Van Morrison will take us to the country, so will Canned Heat. We shall talk a little about Woodsquawk coming up. That my brothers and sisters will be a real outdoor good time, a festival inspired by the most famous of all festivals. We'll throw in some soulful music from Rare Earth and hit a couple of stops on the John Lennon circuit. The Stones will let it Bleed, and Cream will burn off the wheels with some incrediblely heavy stuff. The Dead will finally show up and put it to bed for another week. Peace Out.
