"Machinehead"...along with Led Zep 4, and Sabbath's "Paranoid"..make up the Holy Trinity of early British heavy metal albums. And Ritichie Blackmore gave us the mother all guitar riffs in "Smoke on the Water." But that's not the only smoking song...vocalist Ian Gillian is powerful, and Jon Lord mounts a mighty organ thruout. Come "Space Truckin'" with us tonite at 8 on the Album Side.
Boy that Machine Head album sure has ''legs''. Sounds better than ever even today. Over the years my favorite song on this album has changed a few times. I think ''Lazy'' is the one I prefer the most followed by ''Pictures of Home''. Ian Pace's drumming is incredible. Thanks Eagle for the tasty treats.
