 Danny Seraphine, the original drummer from the band Chicago, will be in Sac tomorrow (Saturday) at 1:30 for a free drum clinic. Open to experts & beginners, the clinic will be at Holiday Inn Express on Auburn Blvd. Danny will talk about drum techniques, and tell stories from the early days of Chicago. --which also are in his new book, "Street Player." Oh yeah...he'll be signing copies of the book at the clinic!! Those first coupla albums from Chicago were fabulous, blending horns with guitars, fusing rock with jazz...and Danny was a big part of that recipe.
