According to a study published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine, the amount of time you spend in your car each day affects how much you weigh. If you have a long commute, you're more likely to be fat than someone who lives 10 minutes from work is. Seems your commute affects your waistline more than things like your income, education, gender or ethnicity. For every 30 minutes commuters drove each day, they had a three percent greater chance of being obese than their peers who drove less did. Bad news for the so called Super Commuters - a whole new meaning to the term Super Size Me!
