For close to 40 years there's been speculation over whether Jimi Hendrix was murdered. Now John Bannister, the doctor who tried to resuscitate Hendrix on September 18th, 1970, says '"it's plausible". I wonder, is this the same doctor that tried to bring Michael Jackson back from the dead. The Doctor says that the volume of wine in Jimi's hair, clothing, lungs and stomach was enormous. James Tappy Wright, Jimi's roadie, recently revealed in his book Rock Roadie, ..that manager Michel Jeffrey admitted killing Jimi because he was "worth more dead than alive". It remains speculation mostly because the principle people involved are either dead or discredited. It will be a story that will live on for a while. It gets me thinking about Brian Jones and his death. When so much booze and drugs are involved, the lines get blurry as to what really happened. In fact I can't even think about this anymore..I'm going out for a drink. Check the video blog for more on this story.
