 The Horse Basics & Beyond clinic happens this Saturday 9a-4p at the Placerville fairgrounds. There will be a cavalcade of horses, with various breeds and riding disciplines. Thruout the day you can see exhibitions, lectures from vets, win prizes, and enjoy refreshments. It's a day for the most basic horse enthusiast, to the most seasoned riders. Pictured is David Turoff, DVM, from Foothill Mobile Veterinary. Proceeds benefit SCLAR, a volunteer group that evacuates large animals in emergencies--like the Butte Co fire a while back.
