Ann Wilson Fronting Led Zeppelin? She Wouldn't Mind

Well, she's certainly covered enough Led Zeppelin songs to be a perfect fit. In an interview with Classic Rock Revisited the subject came up while talking about Heart's cover of "Stairway to Heaven" at the Kennedy Center Honors. Would Ann Wilson be willing to front Led Zeppelin if asked? Robert Plant isn't going to do it by the looks of things.

She says- "I don't know. Hypothetically, if they ever needed a lead singer and Heart was not active at the moment, then, sure, I would. I would go and play with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones any day of the week."

AC/DC Hits The Top 5 on Album Charts

AC/DC's critically acclaimed "Rock or Bust" makes a nice debut on the Billboard Album Chart. In the Top 5 with respectable sales of 172,000 copies. It's not Taylor Swift 1 million in a week sales, nor does it come close to their last record, Black Ice's first week, which was 784,000. Still solid with a new guitarist filling in.

Hear David Bowie's New Song (With a Great Title)

David Bowie has revealed the B-Side to his current single, ‘Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)"

It's called ’Tis a Pity She Was a Whore’ which is a Morrissey title if I've ever heard one. On Bowie's Facebook page, he offers this.

"The song acknowledges the shocking rawness of the First World War, and the title is a play on ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore,’ a John Ford Restoration play first performed in 1629 at the Cockpit Theatre in London.”

The video features stock footage of several bombings.

McCartney and Kanye to Collaborate

Rapper Kanye West seem to have scored the ultimate guest artist for his next album. According to Page Six, West has recruited none other than Sir Paul McCartney to make an appearance on his next album.

The publication report that McCartney might be working on several songs together with West. Macca has previously expressed interest in working with either West or Jay Z, and it now seems as if at least one of those collaborations is set to happen.

McCartney recently had the honor of being the last artist to play San Francisco's famed Candlestick Park before the venue is demolished. Macca was the perfect choice for the event, since the stadium was the place for the Beatles' last concert way back in 1966.
