Mr. Edison.. We Owe You...

It was on this day in 1877 that Thomas Edison first applied for one of his many phonograph patents. Thank you sir… for opening the door to recorded voices, then music.. and eventually Classic Rock. My goodness, without the phonograph, there’s no Robert Johnson Collection, no Beatles, no Stevie Ray… no Eagle Music Vault. And certainly, there’s no A to Z. Oh the humanity. And of course for Bob, Kat, Charlie, Derek, Jim and me…. well, we’d have to get real jobs.
