Rolling Stones Concert Video in Theaters Next Month

Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones have a new concert video hitting stores on Nov. 11, Sweet Summer Sun -- Hyde Park Live, but fans will have the chance to check out the show in on the silver screen a few days before the release. The movie will reach select theaters worldwide beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Fans may visit StonesOnScreen.com to search for screenings of Sweet Summer Sun at nearby theaters. The site also offers an embeddable widget, making it extra easy to find the shows. Specticast.com offers an additional list of screenings.

Sweet Summer Sun -- Hyde Park Live features footage from the Stones’ two July 2013 concerts in London’s Hyde Park. The video presents the rock ‘n’ rollers performing 16 songs, including “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “Miss You,” “Start Me Up,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and more. Former Rolling Stone guitarist Mick Taylor even joins in on the fun for two songs, “Midnight Rambler” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” Running time for the film is 118 minutes.

Sweet Summer Sun will arrive on DVD, Blu-ray and two-CD/DVD and three-LP/DVD sets.

Alas, my Eagle, no Sacramento showings are scheduled! The Four-Star Theater on Clement Street in San Francisco is the nearest venue to Sac to show the concert on the silver screen! DJ Jett
