 So...summer's here..and the kids (or grandkids) are home from high school...and BORED. What to do? Well, if they are interested in music, get 'em involved in Stairway to Stardom. Skip's Music has presented this 8 week program every year for the last 3 decades. The students form bands, write 3 original songs, and will perform those tunes this year in front of a crowd in a concert setting at the Crest Theater Aug 14. Then, they'll record in a local professional studio. It's like Future Farmers of America...for budding rock stars!
