One of the most famous rock and roll streets in the world is Sunset Strip LA. Every year there is a party to honor the Strip and to recognize the history of a great music scene. Each year a specific band or artist is highlighted and given the honor of much attention. This year it's the Doors who spent their early years rocking the Whiskey and the London Fog. They even have a star somewhere on the strip. There is also a series of huge posters featuring the photos of Mr. Henry Diltz. Henry is responsible for many a great album cover back in the 60 and 70s. The Doors Morrison Hotel, Jackson Browne, The Eagles, and many many more. But this week it's about the Doors. Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and yes even John Densmore will be in attendence to play some old familir tunes.
