The Kings? The Kings of WHAT?

Have you ever wondered what our Sacramento Kings are kings of? Certainly not the NBA. Or even their division. Kings of Sacramento? (That's Tesla's job. ) Actually, looking at their record the last few seasons, the Kings are one of the two or three worst teams in the whole league. They are one of the ten worst in history. You can preach loyalty all you want, but the truth is, they suck. Our team sucks. And now National Basketball Association commissioner David Stern has confirmed that the Kings are in talks, or at least have been in talks about moving the team to Anaheim. They want a new stadium and it just isn't happening here. Granted, what we once called Arco Arena is pretty crappy by NBA standards. But the thing is, the Kings aren't any better. Boys, its more wins to get a stadium.  If anything the Kings are far crappier than the former Arco Arena, which has also seen its share of fine concerts as a music venue and does quite well at presenting shows. This opinion is mine, and does not represent the radio station; let the losers go! The Kings are an embarrassment as a representative of this great city. What was once Arco will still rock out with fine concerts. But the team? Chumps, not champs. The Kings aren't even has-beens; the highest they ever achieved was above average. And oh, how we loved them when they were above average. And now that they are a national joke, that above average time looks pretty good, doesn't it? Out! Damned fly! Shoo! Get thee to Anaheim, it's a cheesy dump of a town and you're a cheesy dump of a team. Go! And be careful that the door doesn't swing around and catch you on the way out. -Jobe
