The future's so bright....

 I got new glasses yesterday - some say they are "jewelry for the face" - whatever. For me, glasses are an annual reminder of getting older. Ever since I turned 40, I get my eyes checked each year, and each year I am told that my vision is worse and that I need stronger glasses. These newest ones are trifocals - disguised with the catchy name "progressive lenses". I feel like I am on an amusement park ride when I walk around wearing them. Oh - and as an added bonus, along with three separate magnifications, my glasses are getting thicker too - ugh! I am feeling more and more like Mr. Magoo every year.......
