This Collector's Item Can Be Yours...

We’ve survived another incredible Woodsquawk Festival at the Keller Family Farm.  Thanks so much for coming out.  I’ll tell you, a lot of the artists commented on how much they enjoyed the Sacramento crowd.  Eagle concert goers are boisterous, supportive and loyal in every way, many of whom were decked out in their new Woodsquawk commemorative T-shirts.  This gorgeous souvenir is being made available for a couple more days… with all proceeds going to a dedicated local organization, the Domestic Violence Intervention Center.  Grab yours here.

London (CNN) -- Rupert Murdoch's media empire suffered a double blow Wednesday as Prime Minister David Cameron launched a wide-ranging investigation into the British press and Murdoch's News Corp. withdrew a bid to take over British satellite broadcaster BSkyB. The moves come in the wake of public and political fury at allegations that journalists working for Murdoch illegally eavesdropped on phone messages of thousands of people and bribed police.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said four people were killed when security forces opened fire on protesters in the northeastern city of Deir Ezzor, as demonstrators gathered in the city's Freedom Square. The group, citing an account from a doctor in the city, said 10 people were also wounded, some of them critically. The state-run Syrian Arab News Agency published a report saying that "veiled armed groups on Thursday tried to put up barriers on roads in Deir Ezzor province." "The armed groups also forced shop owners to close their shops in the city, terrified families, threatened citizens and destroyed some stores whose owners refused to respond to their demands."
