It's Valentine's Day. Big night. Time to splash on the Old Spice and get your smooth on. If it's a new love, you don't want to go in "too much"... and if it's a longtime flame, you'd better not down low it! Make a "mix tape" of these choice cuts... fix your best guy/gal dinner at home...open a bottle of merlot and kick back. I guarantee this playlist is a "powerful aphrodesiac"!!! Good luck tonight. Don't let me down.
*Whitney Houston "I Will Always Love You" (1992). Her signature hit. The vocal range is unmatched, as is the message.
*Peabo Bryson/Roberta Flack "You're Looking Like Love To Me" (1983). This has always been in my CD player ready to go, especially when i was single! If you can't get anywhere with this song, you ain't got nuthin.
*Barry White "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe." (1974). If there had been no Barry White in the 70's, guys like me wouldn't have gotten anything "done".
*Nat King Cole "Unforgettable" (1951). The ultimate classic from Mr. Classy.
*Andy Williams "Moon River" (1962) "Moon River" was my family's song growing up. It was the theme song to the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's".
*Frank Sinatra "Strangers in the Night" (1966) I had to take the day off from work when Frank died. Enough said.
*Oleta Adams "Get Here" (1990). This is up there with Whitney's hit... this song was also used in a big national ad campaign by Amtrak.
Those are my top Valentine's love songs!!! What are yours?
