96.9 The Eagle presents one of Classic Rock's greatest voices, Sammy Hagar, to Roseville. Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar and Grill — a restaurant and entertainment venue - will have an island theme, and will feature pan-Asian influenced cuisine. Their menu will include burgers, seafood, sushi, pasta and salads; a full bar with a wine list and draft beer. The 10,000-square-foot space will have two floors, outdoor seating on both levels and a stage for entertainment. And Sammy himself will open the venue with a kickoff concert.
Sammy Hagar and the Wabos will perform during an “invitation-only” event on Saturday, Sept. 15 during the opening of his restaurant, Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar & Grill, at 238 Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville. Hagar will perform inside the restaurant. The concert will be projected on a giant video screen in the 200 block of Vernon Street, which will become an outdoor courtyard area during the event. Additionally, two bands will perform, the Pinder Brothers and Cream of Clapton. Plus, Sammy Hagar will stop by the Street Party.
When you purchase a $75 gift card to be used at Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar & Grill at a later date, you’ll get two passes to the Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar & Grill Street Party. Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar & Grill Street Party starts at 4pm and will last until 10pm. Food and alcohol will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting local charities. Party attendees must be 21 or older. No cans, bottles or outside alcohol allowed. No pets. No ins and out allowed. Enter the party at the 300 block of Vernon Street.
